Cost of Living Here we endeavored to give a rough guide as prices vary enormously. I know we are specifying Javea and the surrounding areas of the Costa Blanca but even so, prices can vary greatly. Generally many Spaniards live in houses or apartments in the Old Town (El Pueblo) and their social life is centered in cafes and restaurants rather than their homes.The result is that holidays in Javea can offer reasonable prices, a good cup of café con leche can be had for an Euro or sometimes less, and you can dine on the healthy Mediterranean diet with plenty of fish fruit and vegetables at a very reasonable cost.
